Installation Procedures

To install the Bulk Refill Chute Funnel, follow these steps:

1. Unlock and then open the NCR FastLane SelfServ™ Checkout Cosmetic Door, using a key.

   

2. Check if the Security Door has a Bulk Refill Chute cutout, as shown in the image below.
   Note

   If the Security Door does not have a Bulk Refill Chute cutout, open the Security Door. For more information, refer to Opening the Security Doorthe "Opening the Security Door" section of NCR FastLane SelfServ™ Checkout (7360) Hardware Service Guide (B005–0000–2378) or NCR FastLane SelfServ™ Cash Tender Module (7362) Hardware Service Guide (BCC5–0000–5147).

   

3. Press the green button to open the Bulk Refill Chute, as shown in the image below.

   

4. Fold the Bulk Refill Chute Funnel along the scored lines, as shown in the image below.

   

5. Insert the Bulk Refill Chute Funnel into the Bulk Refill Chute, as shown in the image below.
   Note

   To load coins through the Bulk Refill Chute, refer to  the "Adding Coins Through the Bulk Refill Chute" section of NCR FastLane SelfServ™ Checkout (7360) Hardware Service Guide (B005–0000–2378) or NCR FastLane SelfServ™ Cash Tender Module (7362) Hardware Service Guide (BCC5–0000–5147). In a single loading operation, it is recommended to load no more than 400 coins to the Bulk Refill Chute. For best performance, ensure that no foreign objects (pieces of plastic, paper and debris) are inserted along with the coins during the loading procedure.

   

   Note

   After loading all coins, remove the Bulk Refill Chute Funnel by lifting it out of the Bulk Refill Chute.
