Removing the Validator Module

To remove the existing Validator Module, follow these steps:

1. Access the CR5000 Coin Recycler (cpi™).
2. Turn the Service screw, located behind the Validator on the CR5000 Coin Recycler Chassis, clockwise at approximately ¼ turn.

   

3. Slide up and then lift the existing Validator module, as shown below. Ensure that the connector and cable are not strained.
   Warning

   The validator is connected to the chassis using a short-length cable with a non-latching connector end. Ensure that the connector and cable are not strained.

   

4. Disconnect the cable from the Validator connector.
