W1 | – | Workaround. Bug in production release HW of all versions of XL15, it advertises as supporting 800x600 in xrandr
but displays black screen when set to 800x600 mode.
Setting resolution via TermConfig fails with black screen, but can be set to 800x600 by initially setting to
1024x768 and scaling to 800x600 using xrandr. Workaround: 1. In TermConfig, set the XL15 display to 1024x768. 2. In the file /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/91-XLDisplayScaling, look for the phrase --output DP-1 and change it to --output DP-1 --mode 1024x768 --scale-from 800x600. 3. Restart Xwindows by running pkill x then startx. |
|
W2 | – | Workaround. Change the display’s resolution: xrandr --output [the display's video adapter] --mode [the resolution you want to set] |
|
●2 | – | Supported. In TermConfig, once XL7 is set to 800x600, there is no option to reset to 1024x600. To reset to the original resolution: 1. In TermConfig, go to Main Menu → Video → Adapter 1 or 2 → Display. 2. Change the Display back to XL7. |

●3 | – | Supported. After setting display mode to clone, resolution must be reset in the primary display, otherwise unintended behavior occurs if the displays previously had different resolutions. |
