Printer Cannot Connect through USB

USB Type setting may be mismatched with the software interface configuration
  1. Print the configuration form and check the USB Type setting under the Hardware section.
    • USB Type: NHPI — indicates that the printer is configured for USB HID Interface.
    • USB Type: EPiC — indicates that the printer is configured for Virtual COM Port. To validate the assigned Port number, run Edgeport.exe.
  2. If needed, change the USB Type setting.

Virtual COM Port driver is not installedInstall the Virtual COM Port driver, and then verify if it was properly installed.
