Step 3: Install the Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) System

In this section, it is assumed that the NCR 7877 unit is not yet installed in the checkstand cutout. If the NCR 7877 unit is already installed in the checkstand and the cables are already connected to the Bulk-Head Connector System, refer to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) System Installation.

Either of the following EAS systems can be installed in the NCR 7877:

•Sensormatic Deactivation System

•Checkpoint Deactivation System
