Power Supply
The scanner can be powered by either a power supply or by a host terminal. The following are options for NCR 7877.
Note: Some host terminal interface types can power the NCR 7877 without the use of a power supply. Please contact your NCR sales representative for details.
Power Supply with Latch-N-Lok Connector
The scanner can be powered using an external tabletop 40W switching power supply with Latch-N-Lok Connector. This option is available as kit number 7877-K121.
Note: The AC Power Cord is not included in the kit and is purchased separately.
Legacy Power Supply with Barrel Jack Connector
The scanner can be powered with the legacy 12V switching power supply with a barrel jack (7892-Kxxx) and an adapter Y-cable with USB Plus Power Jack (1432-C659-040).

Host Terminal
The unit can also be powered using a USB plus power cable (1432-C156-0040) connected to the POS terminal.
Note: Some host terminal interface types can power the NCR 7877 without the use of a power supply. Please contact your NCR sales representative for details.
