Step 3: Install the Sensormatic^® Coil

Perform the following procedure to install the Sensormatic® Coil.

1.Position the NCR 7879 facing the operator.

2.Remove the Top Plate

•Hold the front edge of the Top Plate between your fingers.

•Lift the Top Plate to remove it from the NCR 7879.

3.Position the connector end of the Sensormatic® Coil Cable down through the hole in the NCR 7879 Base. The hole is toward the back on the left side of the Horizontal Window.

4.Position the Sensormatic® Coil around the Horizontal Window.

5.Install the two Mounting Screws.

6.Install the Top Plate.
