Scanner is Not Connected
If the NCR 7895 scanner is not connected to the computer or POS terminal through a USB communication cable, the user must manually select the scanner model and firmware plug‑in.
To create a configuration file without a scanner connected, follow these steps:
- From the scanner connection option, select My scanner is not connected. The application displays the available scanner family options.
- From the scanner family options, select 7895. The application displays the available scanner models under 7895.
- Select the latest firmware plug‑in. The application starts the Configuration Wizard.
