The following table describes the Over Short Reason Codes options.

This is a multi-record option group. Records can be added as necessary. This parameter group has a maximum limit of 99 records.

| Close Out-of-Balance Code | A numeric value from zero to 99. | Specifies the code assigned to the reason for the cash drawer being out of balance. |
| Close Out-of- Balance Reason | An alphanumeric value from zero to 40 characters. | Describes the Close Out-of-Balance Reason displayed on the sequence number. |
| Sequence Number | A numeric value from zero to 99. | Identifies the order that the over short reasons are displayed on the POS. |
