Markdown Properties

The following table describes the Markdown Properties options.

This is a multi-record option group. Records can be added as necessary. After deploying changes to any of these parameters to the POS, reboot the affected POS terminals so that changes would take effect.

Option name Value Description
Additional Discounts To Disable Comma-separated numeric values of up to 255 characters. Determines the sequence number of the other discount types to be disabled.
Disable After Use A list with the following options:
  • Yes
  • No
  • Not Applicable
 Determines whether or not the discount is limited to one per transaction.
Discount Type ID An alphanumeric value from zero to 40 characters. Identifies the type of discount or markdown applied.
Markdown Adjustment Type A list with the following options:
  • Promotion
  • StoreCoupon
  • PromoDiscount
  • MfgCoupon
  • PriceOverride
  • PriceOverrideAllowMarkup
 Determines the markdown adjustment type.
Markdown Calculation Type A list with the following options:
  • Dollar
  • Percent
  • DollarOffWeightVolume
  • PricePoint
  • PricePointWeightVolume
 Determines the markdown calculation type.
Markdown Description An alphanumeric value from zero to 40 characters. Describes the promotion that is displayed on the POS view and the receipt.
Markdown Level A list with the following options:
  • Item
  • Dept
  • Trans
 Determines the markdown level.
Priority A numeric value from zero to 9999. Specifies the priority of the offer with respect to other offers. The lower the number, the higher the priority.
Sequence Number A numeric value from zero to 99. Identifies the sequence number of the markdown type.
Show Price Parenthesis True/False Specifies the property to display price parenthesis after the description.
