Associate Mandatory Information

The following table describes the Associate Mandatory Information options.

 Specifies the type of data permitted in this field.
  • Alpha—accepts data input with letters only.
  • Alphanumeric—accepts data input with a combination of letters and numbers.
  • Date—accepts data input with numbers only.
  • Month—accepts data input as a month only.
  • Numeric—accepts data input with numbers only.
  • Phone Number—accepts data input with numbers only.
  • Year—accepts data input as a year.
  • Text—accepts data input with a combination of letters, numbers, punctuation marks, and symbols, such as @, &, and *.

 A numeric value from zero to 99. Specifies the order in which this field is displayed on the POS screen.

The mandatory associate information is displayed before the optional associate information. Display Order does not apply to Job Role on the POS Associate Information screen.

 An alphanumeric value from one to 30 characters. Use Yes to display the field on the POS.
Input Length A numeric value from zero to 999. Specifies the maximum input length of the field. The maximum value permitted for Associate ID is 32.

Input Length does not apply to Country, Phone Number, State, and Zip Code. The length for these fields is specified in the Local Customization options. For more information, refer to Local Customization.

 Yes/No Determines whether or not the attribute will be displayed on the POS application.

 Yes/No Use Yes to determine whether or not the field is required.

Unique Field ID An alphanumeric value from one to 50 characters. Specifies a unique identifier for a field that can be displayed on the POS screen.
