Price Inquiry

Associates can use the Price Inquiry feature to check the prices of available items. Checking item prices can be done using the following methods:

• Checking item prices outside of transactions
• Checking item prices during sales

Associates can also add items from a price inquiry to start a sales transaction. For more information, refer to Selling items from price inquiry.

Configurable features

The POS application can be configured with the following feature.

• Enable the POS application to scan and accept 16-digit SKU bar code during price inquiry. Refer to the following option:
  • Configurable Inputs (Input Validation) > Input Type
