Installing the RabbitMQ Server application on the Enterprise Messaging Server

Advanced Store uses RabbitMQ as its messaging server. Install the version of RabbitMQ Server for Windows specified in the Software Prerequisites topic. If needed, installation instructions are provided on the RabbitMQ website (www.rabbitmq.com). When finished, RabbitMQ will be set up and running as a service.

Note

When upgrading to RabbitMQ 3.11.x, if nodes or clusters were initially created in RabbitMQ 3.8.9 or earlier, all feature flags must first be enabled before upgrading. This step is not required when doing a fresh install of RabbitMQ. For more information, refer to the topic “Required feature flags in RabbitMQ 3.11.0,” on the RabbitMQ website.

Install RabbitMQ using administrator privileges, and accept the default installation settings.
