Process Type |
One of the following values:
- Exempt
- Percent Reduction
- Exempt All
- Rate Reduction

Specifies the type of operation to be applied on the tax. |
Process Value |
A comma-separated list of alphanumeric values from zero to 20 characters or blank |
Specifies the value to process in the exemption, if needed. This value is used for rule modification or computation. For a Process Type of "Percent Reduction," this value represents the number in decimal form by which the tax should be multiplied. For a Process Type of "Rate Reduction," this value represents the value of a valid tax code that should be subtracted from the original tax code.

A unique identifier for the tax exemption rule.

Tax Code Id |
An alphanumeric value from zero to 20 characters or blank |
Specifies the tax class to which a tax exemption rule is applied. When this option is left blank, the tax exemption rule is applied to all tax classes on all the items in the transaction.
