Silent Installation

This section describes the steps for a silent or scripted installation of the Advanced Store solution. The information provided in this section assumes advanced technical knowledge and is intended for IT personnel or database administrators who have previously installed Advanced Store using the Install Shield Wizard.

Important

The silent installation method is not recommended for a first-time installation of Advanced Store.

The Silent Installation consists of three parts:

  1. DSR Enterprise Server applications
  2. Advanced Store Server Suite
  3. In-Store systems

After installing the DSR Enterprise Server applications, additional post-installation configuration is required on each enterprise server. For more information, refer to Configuring the Enterprise Server Environment and subsequent topics.
