Installing the Advanced Store Web (API) Server

The NCR Advanced Store Enterprise Solutions Web Server is one of the components of the NCR Advanced Store Enterprise Solutions. The Web Server accesses the data from the enterprise database. A Web Application Programming Interface (API) retrieves data from the client server. This component is supported by the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), which is available for installation through the local operating system.

Installing the Web (API) Server also installs the POS Health Dashboard web application. Use the POS Health Dashboard to track and observe the activities of the POS terminals in an enterprise.
