Starting the NCR Retail Services
Verify that the NCR Retail Services are running.
To verify that the services are running, follow these steps:
- On the Windows taskbar on the Application Server, select Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services. The local list of services is displayed in the Services window.
- Verify that the status of the following services is Running.
- Ncr.Retail.BatchApply
- Ncr.Retail.Services.EOMParameterStaging
- Ncr.Retail.Services.EOMSynchronization
- Ncr.Retail.Services.MaintenanceProcessors
- Ncr.Retail.Services.PMPDirector
- Ncr.Retail.Services.TransactionProcessors
- If any of these services are not running, right-click the service and select Start.Note
If using multiple application servers, the Batch Apply, EOMParameterStaging, EOMSynchronization, and PMP Director services should be running only on the general application server and not on the specialized application servers.
