Applying a percent off coupon discount

Applying a percent off coupon discount indicates that the discount is deducted in percentage form. For example, an item with an amount of $59.99 when applied with a 10% coupon discount equates to $53.991 as its discounted price.

Configurable features

Retailers can enable the POS to apply discounts to the total quantity of a selected item. Refer to the following option:

• Menu Buttons > Enable Quantity Button

To apply a percent off coupon discount, follow these steps:

1. On the Coupon Discount screen, select Percent Off. The application displays the Coupon % Off Discount screen.

   

2. Enter the percentage to take off the item, and then select Enter. The application displays the Sale Main Menu screen with the Coupon % Off discount information.

   

Sample receipt

The receipt indicates that the item has been applied with a manual manufacturer coupon discount and displays the amount saved from the discount.
