Adjusting deposit amount

The deposit amount for a pre-order item can be used to pay for another store item.

Note

This feature discards the pre-order item that was initially paid for.

To adjust a deposit amount, follow these steps:

  1. On the Pre-Order Search screen, look up the pre-order sales transaction. The application displays the items on the View Pre-Order Transaction screen.

    Note

    In the sample image above, one of the pre-ordered items of the looked-up transaction has already been claimed by the customer.

  2. Select an item, and then select Adjust Deposit Amount. The POS application displays the item on the Sale Main Menu screen.
  3. Add one or more items to the transaction. The POS application deducts the amount due with the deposit amount and displays the remaining amount due.

  4. Select Pay. The POS application displays the Tender Menu screen.
  5. Complete the transaction. The POS application prints a receipt.
