Adjusting deposit amount
The deposit amount for a pre-order item can be used to pay for another store item.
Note
This feature discards the pre-order item that was initially paid for.
To adjust a deposit amount, follow these steps:
- On the Pre-Order Search screen, look up the pre-order sales transaction. The application displays the items on the View Pre-Order Transaction screen. Note
In the sample image above, one of the pre-ordered items of the looked-up transaction has already been claimed by the customer.
- Select an item, and then select Adjust Deposit Amount. The POS application displays the item on the Sale Main Menu screen.
- Add one or more items to the transaction. The POS application deducts the amount due with the deposit amount and displays the remaining amount due.
- Select Pay. The POS application displays the Tender Menu screen.
- Complete the transaction. The POS application prints a receipt.
