Accessing the drawer functions

The drawer functions process paid-in and paid-out amounts, pickup transactions, and loan transactions.

Configurable features

The POS application can be configured with the following features:

• The POS application can be configured to disable the display of specific Drawer Functions buttons. Refer to the following options:
  • Menu Buttons > Enable Paid In Button
  • Menu Buttons > Enable Paid Out Button
  • Menu Buttons > Enable Pickup Button
  • Menu Buttons > Enable Receive Loan Button

• Determine which associates are authorized to use the drawer functions. Refer to the following option:
  • Authorization Overrides > Authorization Functions > DrawerFunctions

To access the drawer functions, follow these steps:

1. On the Manager Functions screen, select Drawer Functions. The application displays the Drawer Functions screen.

   

2. Select a drawer function to proceed with the transaction.
