Canceling a Web order pickup transaction

If the desired transaction is not returned from an alternate lookup, an associate may cancel the Web order pickup transaction. When one of the following messages is displayed, an associate may also cancel the Web order pickup transaction:

  • There is a problem with the order, please check with the fulfillment system.
  • The order is canceled or pending cancellation.
  • Order has been picked up.
  • The order is located at Store# <Number>.
  • The order was not found.

To cancel a Web order pickup transaction, follow these steps:

  1. On the Transaction Types screen, select Web Order Pickup. The application displays the Web Order Search screen.
  2. Enter at least one of the following customer information:
    • First Name
    • Email address
    • Phone number

    The application does not return a transaction from the lookup and displays an error message.

  3. Select OK. The application returns to the Web Order Search screen.
  4. Select Cancel. The application displays a confirmation message.
  5. Select Yes. The transaction is canceled, and the application reverts to the Transaction Types screen.
