Inspecting and Cleaning the Fujitsu Note Dispenser

The Fujitsu F53 Note Dispenser requires periodic preventative maintenance to keep it running efficiently. These tasks must be performed by NCR Service personnel.

Note:  There is a different standard for Phillips screws in Japan than in the rest of the world. It is very easy to strip screws on Japanese products when using a non-Japanese Phillips screwdriver. Therefore, it is recommended that a JIS-P2 Screwdriver be used when working on the Fujitsu F53 Note Dispenser.

Preventive maintenance tasks for the F53 dispenser include the following:

Every 4 Months

Inspecting and Cleaning the Thickness Detection Bearing and Roller

Inspecting and Cleaning Sensors

Cleaning Belts

Cleaning the Pick Roller and Sub Roller

Every 1 Year

Inspecting the Gate

Inspecting Carrying Flat Belts

Check each Carrying Flat Belt and verify it has not become loose due to expansion and that it is not worn and does not contain any tears.

Inspecting and Adjusting the Thickness Sensor

Replacing the Pick Roller or Sub Roller

This task is not performed in the field. Replace the cassettes with new ones and return the old cassettes for depot maintenance.
