Troubleshooting Procedures

The following table defines the problems that may be encountered while using the NCR KT2200 and the recommended actions for each problem.

No image appears on the screen.

The cables are not properly connected.

Check if all I/O and power connectors are properly connected. For more information, refer to Connecting the Display.

The connector pins are damaged.

Make sure that the pins of the connectors are not crooked or broken.

The message No Signal appears on the screen.

The LCD display is powered on but cannot receive any signal from the host terminal graphics card.

Make sure that the kitchen controller is switched on.

Check if all cables are properly connected. For more information, refer to Connecting the Display.

The message Going to Sleep appears on the screen.

The LCD display is under the power saving mode.

Touch the screen to activate the display.

The LCD display is under the power saving mode due to a sudden signal disconnecting problem.

Check if all I/O and power connectors are properly connected. For more information, refer to Connecting the Display.
