Installation Procedures

To upgrade the existing NCR ESP Note Dispenser to an F53 Note Dispenser (Fujitsu), follow these steps:

1.Turn off the NCR SelfServ Checkout software and hardware systems.

2.Unlock and open the Core Door. For more information, refer to Opening the Core Door.

3.Remove the NCR ESP Note Dispenser. For more information, refer to Removing NCR ESP Note Dispenser from the NCR SelfServ Checkout.

4. Install the Core Unit and Presenter onto the Add-On Pick Module. For more information, refer to Replacing the Add-On Pick Module.

5.Install the F53 Note Dispenser (Fujitsu). For more information, refer to Replacing a Core Unit and Presenter.

6.Configure the Fujitsu F53 Note Cassette. For more information, refer to Configuring the Fujitsu F53 Note (Bill) Cassette.

7.Push the F53 Note Dispenser (Fujitsu) into the SelfServ Checkout unit.

8.Insert note cassettes into the F53 Note Dispenser (Fujitsu).

9.Close and lock the F53 Note Dispenser (Fujitsu)Security Door.

10.Close the Core Door. For more information, refer to Closing the Core Door.

11.Turn on the NCR SelfServ Checkout software and hardware systems.

12.Run the CADD/ADD Configuration Utility to ensure that the device is updated with the latest firmware.
