Unlocking the Camera

Three (3) incorrect passwords will lock the account. After three (3) incorrect attempts, even the correct password will not grant access to the account.

To unlock the camera, do the following:

1. Do either of the following reset options:
   Note

   Power Reset and Time Reset options can unlock the camera to allow users to enter their correct login credentials. These options will not work if the password is forgotten. Reset the password to access the camera. For more information on resetting the password, refer to "Resetting the password" on page 1.

   Power Reset

   To perform power reset, follow these steps:

   1. Turn off the camera for at least three (3) seconds, and then unplug the camera from its power source.
   2. Plug the camera back to a power source, and then turn on the camera.
   Note

   The Power Reset option will NOT revert the camera back to factory settings.

   Time Reset

   Wait for thirty (30) minutes to allow the camera to automatically reset. This will unlock the account.

   Note

   The browser should stay open and connected to the login interface the entire time. DO NOT manually refresh the page within the thirty (30) minutes. The Time Reset option will NOT revert the camera back to factory settings.

2. Enter the correct login credentials initially set during the setup.
   Note

   DO NOT use the default login credentials. If the password is forgotten, reset the password. For more information, refer to Resetting the password.
