Routing the Checkpoint® Interface Cable

To route the interface cable, follow these steps:

1.Connect the interface cable to the TAB/CAB Checkpoint port of the KIO Board.

2.Route the interface cable to the Checkpoint Controller.

3.From the Checkpoint Controller, remove the Rubber Cover to access the Reset button.

4.Connect the interface cable to the RS232 Port of the Checkpoint Controller, as shown in the image below.

5.Tune the antenna before using the Checkpoint® EAS system. This step requires power and is performed later in the system installation process. For more information, refer to Tuning the Checkpoint® Antenna.
