Locating Items

Use the Item Locate feature for the following purposes:

• To locate an item’s inventory in the local store.
• To locate an item’s inventory in other stores.

There are two methods to locating the stores where a selected item is available:

• By using the Locate Item option in the item-related option on the Item Lookup Result screen. For more information, refer to Locating items from Item Lookup results.
• By using the Locate Item option on the Item Lookup screen. For more information, refer to Locating items from Item Lookup.

After locating the items, retailers can do one of the following:

• Place items in a particular as on hold for pickup. For more information, refer to Holding items for pickup.
• Obtain a copy of the item location details. For more information, refer to Getting the item location details.
• Send the ordered items to a specific address. For more information, refer to Shipping ordered items.
