What’s New in Advanced Store

This section describes new features available in Advanced Store release 6.8 R31, and where to find information about each feature in the Advanced Store Online Publications. For the most recent information, please refer to the Release Bulletin.

The following User and POS Features are new for Advanced Store.

Discounts

Validate an associate's Government ID on the Associate Discount screen. Display an associate message on the Associate Discount screen to validate the associate's Goverment ID before applying an associate discount to an item during a sales transaction. Refer to the following sections:

Loyalty

Ability to add fields to Update Member screen. Additional fields, such as Opt-In Email, Opt-In Text, and Phone Type, can be added to the Update Member screen. Refer to the following sections:

Post voiding loyalty member's transactions. When an associate post voids a loyalty member's transaction, the loyalty transaction is canceled and any redeemed points are reversed or returned. Refer to the following sections:

Receipts

Specify formatting attributes for receipt messages using the Transaction Dispatch service. Provide receipt-formatting instructions for text or barcoded messages in the response message sent from retailer's system to the Transaction Dispatch service. Refer to the following sections:

Disable the POS application from printing member information on the receipt. Disable the POS from printing the member's information on the receipt when a loyalty member is added to a transaction and the Loyalty Member Information screen is displayed. Refer to the following sections:

Sales

Link items for an organizational unit. Configure linked items at the store level or by geographical region. A new batch apply data type was added to support this feature. Refer to the following sections:
