Defining the EOM Applications

The EOM application displays applications that are arranged in tabs on the Dashboard.

Note

Depending on the role of the user logged on to the EOM application, the applications displayed in the EOM window may either be supported or restricted. For best practice, NCR recommends to use the following user roles when accessing the EOM applications:

  • EOM User
  • EOM Admin

This section describes the tabs displayed on the EOM Dashboard.

Supported

The EOM application includes the following supported applications:

  • Dashboard—displays selected widgets according to the preference of the user.
    Note

For information on adding widgets, refer to Understanding User Role Restrictions.

  • EOM—provides access to the EOM windows used to manage and customize the functionality of the enterprise, store, or POS terminals.

Restricted

The EOM application includes the following restricted applications:

  • Add Widgets—provides user-defined widgets.
    Note

By default, no widgets are displayed in the EOM application. The EOM dashboard widgets can be customized. To customize the EOM dashboard widgets, consult with an NCR Representative.

  • EOD/Audit Tools—provides tools relevant for enterprise transaction searching.
    Note

Depending on the role of the user logged on to the EOM application, this tab may either be accessible or restricted. For more information, refer to Understanding User Role Restrictions.
