Verifying the Enterprise Parameter Version Upgrade

To validate that the EOM parameter version was correctly updated during the Messaging Server upgrade, follow these steps:

  1. Open a Web browser, and type the URL for the WebOffice EOM application. The WebOffice log-in screen is displayed.
  2. Enter a Username and Password to log in to WebOffice. The main Dashboard is displayed.
  3. Select EOM. The EOM window is displayed.
  4. On the System Task list in the left pane, select EOM > Current Options. The Current Options window is displayed in the right pane.
  5. Select the Ver. list, and verify that the list includes the EOM parameter version applied during the Advance Store Enterprise upgrade.

Note

All entities are shown as disabled in the Organizational Hierarchy pane, because the new parameter version has not been enabled at the individual store-level yet.

When the retailer is ready to upgrade their in-store POS systems, they can enable all entities displayed in EOM to use the new EOM parameter version. For more information, refer to Updating the POS Parameter Version.
