Identifying User Role Mapping
The Advanced Store solution manages its security levels through user roles. Across an enterprise or a store, retailers are able to assign user roles to the recognized associate role names. Through user roles, retailers can restrict access to specific features and functions in the system and assign them to their designated associate user roles. For more information about EOM applications, refer to Defining the EOM Applications
If using Active Directory for user role authentication, and using Sample Data files, make sure to edit the job codes to match the group names set up in Active Directory. For more information about creating groups in Active Directory, refer to Creating a Group Account in Active Directory.
