Modifying the POS Terminal Setup

The POS terminal setup is first configured after installing The POS application on a terminal. For more information, refer to Configuring the CMOS File.

The support functions provide the following tasks for modifying the POS terminal setup:

Set Term #—sets or modifies the POS terminal number.
Set Store #—sets or modifies the store number.
Set Transaction #—sets or modifies the POS transaction number.
Set Touch Type—changes the POS Touch Type used for this terminal.
Enable Preferred Station

Note

This option is disabled depending on the configuration of the hardware devices connected to the POS.
