Force Cash Drawer Open

Retailers can configure the POS to display the Force Drawer Open button. Authorized associates can open the cash drawer during emergency situations. The Force Drawer Open button can be displayed on the Transaction Types screen, Sale Main Menu, and Customer Lookup screens. When configured, the button only appears on the Transaction Types screen and Sale Main Menu when no items and members have been added to the transaction.

To use this feature, the Force Drawer Open global button must be enabled. For more information, refer to Display or rearrange Global Buttons.
