Using the Gift Registry

Retailers can use the Advanced Store POS application to offer gift registry options to their store customers. Retailers can create and store gift registry types in the Database Server.

The Advanced Store POS application supports the following gift registry features:

• Looking up gift registries
• Linking items to a gift registry
• Sending gift registry items

To use the gift registry feature, ensure that the following conditions are met:

• The retailer has integrated the Advanced Store system with a third-party Gift Registry application. For more information, consult with an NCR Representative.
• The retailer has created gift registry types in the Database Server. For more information, consult with an NCR Representative.
• The Gift Registry button is enabled on the Sale Main Menu screen of the POS application. For more information, refer to Gift Registry Setup.
