Using the Store Controller

Use the Store Controller function to manually open or close the store. Manually opening or closing the store can be completed from one of the POS terminals in a defined store.

Note

The date and time when a POS terminal opens the store is set as the Store’s and the POS’s business date.

Configurable features

The POS can be configured with the following Store Controller functions:

Set a scheduled opening or closing of the store. To schedule a store to open or close automatically, use the Store Open and Close options. For more information, refer to Store Open and Close.
Define authorized users who can manually open or close the store. For more information, refer to Authorization Overrides.
