Using in-POS menu maintenance options
This section describes the menu maintenance options available on the POS application user interface.
The POS application supports the following functions for configuring quick menus and quick menu items:
- Creating quick menus
- Creating quick menu items
- Editing quick menus
- Editing quick menu items
- Validating details of quick menu items
- Sharing and retrieving quick menu data
- Restoring the quick menu data enterprise version
Note
The color configuration options available for this feature can use the hexadecimal notation or the RGBA notation.
This feature has the following behaviors:
- The quick menus and quick menu items created using the menu maintenance functions on the POS application do not reflect in the store’s EOM application. The EOM application retains the enterprise version of the quick menus and quick menu items.
- This feature is disabled when the POS application is operated in Training Mode.
